- A done-for-you SEO service for UAE online stores on any platform, from audit to ongoing growth.
- English reaches almost every UAE shopper, and Arabic adds a second, less crowded set of rankings.
- Category pages and long-tail product searches are where a store can win against Amazon.ae, noon and Dubizzle.
- Hreflang, AED product schema and a Merchant Center feed are set up so Google shows the right page, price and language.
- No ranking guarantees. You get a clear plan, honest reporting and work you can see.
UAE shoppers start on Google. It handles about 93% of all searches in the country, and almost everyone is online.
That makes organic search one of the best channels a UAE store can own. Every click is free, and it keeps coming after you stop paying for ads.
The catch? Amazon.ae, noon and Dubizzle already rank for the big generic terms. And the UAE searches in two languages.
That's where we come in. We run ecommerce SEO for stores selling in Dubai and across the Emirates, in English and Arabic, on whatever platform you use.
Who this service is for
This is for brands that want their own online store to rank in UAE search and bring in sales without paying for every click.
It usually suits one of these sellers:
- Dubai and UAE brands with a store that gets little organic traffic, or none in Arabic.
- Retailers with showrooms who want online shoppers to find them by product, not just by name.
- Foreign brands entering the UAE that need a local search presence fast.
- Marketplace sellers on Amazon.ae or noon building their own channel and customer list.
The outcome: product and category pages that rank for what UAE shoppers search, in both languages, with Google showing the right price and page to each of them.
Selling mainly to Saudi Arabia? Our Shopify SEO service for Saudi Arabia is built for that market.

Which platforms do you work with?
All the common ones. The SEO principles don't change, but each platform has its own limits:
| Platform | Typical SEO work |
|---|---|
| Shopify | Markets subfolders, Arabic checkout text, duplicate collection URLs, app bloat |
| WooCommerce | Multilingual plugin setup, faceted URLs, hosting speed |
| Magento / Adobe Commerce | Layered navigation, store views per language, crawl budget |
| Salla and Zid | Arabic-first stores that need English pages and clean metadata |
| Custom builds | Rendering, sitemaps and hreflang built with your developers |
On Shopify? Our guide to Shopify Arabic SEO covers the platform's quirks in detail.
How it works
Five stages take you from first call to steady growth. You're involved at the start and at each sign-off, and we handle the rest.
- 1
Discovery
We learn what you sell, who buys it and where sales come from today. We also look at your platform, your Search Console data and the marketplaces you sell on.
- 2
Plan
You get the audit, the English and Arabic keyword map and a prioritised roadmap. Timing depends on scope, and we agree milestones with you before work starts.
- 3
Build
We fix technical issues, rewrite category and product pages, add schema and set up your Merchant Center feed. You review changes before anything goes live.
- 4
Launch
Changes go live in batches, so each one can be measured. We request indexing, submit sitemaps and check that Google shows the right language and price.
- 5
Support
Monthly reporting, new content and ongoing fixes. We adjust the plan as Search Console shows which pages and queries bring sales.
Why UAE search needs a UAE plan
Generic SEO works in the UAE up to a point. These four local details decide whether your store ranks and sells.
English reaches most shoppers, Arabic reaches the rest
About 9 in 10 UAE residents are expats, and English is the language of shopping. So English SEO comes first for most stores.
But Arabic is a separate search market, not a translation. In a Dubai study of mall ATM users, about 80% of Emiratis chose Arabic, and Arab expats split roughly half and half.
Arabic also faces less competition. Only about 0.6% of websites are in Arabic, so many Arabic product terms have thinner results than their English versions.
Skip Arabic and Google may fill the gap for you. It increasingly shows machine-translated copies of English pages in Arabic results, with copy and calls to action you don't control.
For the full language picture, read Arabic or English for UAE shoppers.
Translation isn't keyword research
UAE shoppers don't always search the way a dictionary says. Here's a worked example from Google Trends data for the UAE over the past 12 months:
| What you sell | What a translator might write | What UAE shoppers lean towards |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone cases | ايفون (Arabic script) | "iphone" in Latin letters, by a wide margin |
| Shoes | حذاء | حذاء, with the Gulf word جوتي close behind |
| Slippers and sandals | شبشب | نعال, by far |
| Mobile phones | موبايل or جوال | هاتف leads, ahead of موبايل |
So a store that only translates its English keywords misses real searches. We research Arabic terms natively for the UAE, then map each one to the right page.
Our Arabic keyword research guide shows the method step by step.
You're competing with Amazon.ae, noon and Dubizzle
Amazon.ae gets about 12–17 million visits a month (Semrush), and noon is second. For broad terms like "running shoes", marketplaces often fill the first screen of results.
That's fine. You don't need to beat them everywhere. Here's where a store has the edge:
| Marketplaces | Your own store | |
|---|---|---|
| Broad generic terms ("headphones") | Usually win | Hard to rank |
| Branded searches | Compete with you | Should win |
| Long-tail, specific searches | Thin, generic listings | Can win with detail |
| Category pages for a niche | Huge, unfocused | Focused and curated |
| Buying guides and comparisons | Rarely rank | Strong opportunity |
| Arabic-language results | Machine-translated titles common | Native Arabic pages stand out |
So we build around specific category pages, long-tail product searches and helpful guides. That's where a focused store beats a giant catalogue.
Google Shopping, AED prices and the sale calendar
Google shows product listings in the UAE, including free listings from a Merchant Center feed. You don't need an ad budget to appear there.
The rules are strict, though. Prices must be in AED, and the feed language must match the landing page. An Arabic feed needs Arabic product pages behind it.
Your product schema should match too: AED prices, VAT-inclusive, with live stock status. If the feed, schema and page disagree, Google can disapprove the listing.
Then there's timing. White Friday, Ramadan and the Dubai Shopping Festival drive big search spikes, so seasonal pages need to be live and indexed weeks ahead.

What you'll see each month
SEO is slow to show in sales, so good reporting matters. Each monthly report answers four questions in plain language:
- What did we do? The pages, fixes and content that went live, with links.
- What moved? Impressions, clicks and average position from Search Console, split into English and Arabic.
- What sold? Organic revenue and orders from your analytics, by landing page.
- What's next? The next batch of work, and why it's first.
We split every number by language. Here's why: an Arabic page can grow fast from a small base while English moves slowly. Blended totals hide that.
You also get access to the dashboards themselves, not just a PDF. If you stop working with us, the data, content and setup stay yours.
What you need to provide
SEO moves faster when we have access and answers early. Here's what helps:
- Admin or collaborator access to your store platform.
- Google Search Console and Analytics access, or the go-ahead to set them up.
- Merchant Center access, if you have an account already.
- Product data: your catalogue export, with prices, stock and any Arabic content you already have.
- Business priorities: best sellers, margins, new ranges and the categories you want to grow.
- A developer contact, if your store is custom or heavily modified.
- One decision-maker who can approve content and changes.
Missing something? That's normal. Tell us in discovery, and we'll plan around it.

Notes for Shopify stores
Shopify handles many SEO basics well, but UAE stores hit a few specific issues:
- Use Markets subfolders like /en-ae/ and /ar-ae/. Shopify generates the hreflang tags for you.
- Translate the Arabic checkout. Arabic isn't one of Shopify's pre-translated checkout languages, so the Arabic strings need writing by hand.
- Turn off forced geo-redirects. Use a language banner instead, so Google can crawl every version.
- Watch duplicate URLs. Products inside collections can create extra URLs that need clean canonical tags.

Notes for marketplace sellers
Already selling on Amazon.ae or noon? You have a head start. Your marketplace data shows which products sell, which search terms convert and what prices shoppers accept.
We use that data to decide which store pages to build first. Your best marketplace sellers usually make the best first SEO targets.
There's another benefit. Shoppers who find your brand on a marketplace often search for it on Google next. A well-optimised store catches those branded searches, so the sale lands on your own site.
Want to sharpen the marketplace side too? Our guide to noon product listing SEO covers titles and keywords there.
Notes for stores selling to Saudi Arabia too
A UAE store can rank in Saudi Arabia, but the two markets search differently:
- Saudi search is Arabic-first, while the UAE leans English.
- Arabic words differ. Saudis search جوال for phones, for example, where the UAE leans towards هاتف.
- Prices and VAT differ. SAR with 15% VAT versus AED with 5%, so each market needs its own pages and feed.
- Hreflang must separate them, with ar-SA and ar-AE versions where prices or delivery differ.
Our guides to SEO in Saudi Arabia and bilingual SEO cover the setup.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. The work is platform-agnostic: WooCommerce, Magento (Adobe Commerce), BigCommerce, Salla, Zid and custom builds all work. What changes is how we apply fixes. On some platforms we edit templates directly, on others we work through apps, plugins or your developer.
