- Easy Ship means you store and pack the order, and an Amazon courier collects it from your address and delivers it.
- Rates start at SAR 19 or AED 14 for a parcel up to 250 g. A 1 kg parcel costs SAR 20.50 or AED 15, against SAR 10 or AED 10.50 with FBA.
- You can charge the buyer up to SAR 12 or AED 10 per shipment, and buyers can pay cash on delivery.
- Easy Ship orders don't get the Prime badge. That's the main reason fast sellers move to FBA.
- Easy Ship beats FBA for bulky products that sell slowly, where months of FBA storage cost more than the delivery saving.
Amazon Easy Ship lets you sell on Amazon.sa and Amazon.ae without sending stock to Amazon's warehouse.
You keep the products and pack each order. Amazon's courier picks it up from your door and delivers it, and buyers can pay by card or cash.
It's a great way to start. You can list today from your own store room, and shoppers in Riyadh or Dubai get tracked delivery from day one.
The catch? For small items, FBA is cheaper per order and adds the Prime badge. Below you'll find the full rates in SAR and AED, how pickup works, and a worked example of when Easy Ship pays.
What is Amazon Easy Ship?
Easy Ship is Amazon's pickup-and-delivery service for sellers who store their own stock. It sits between the two other options:
- FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon). Amazon stores, packs and delivers your stock from its warehouses.
- Easy Ship. You store and pack. Amazon collects each order and delivers it.
- Self Ship. You do everything, with your own courier.
Easy Ship gives you Amazon's delivery network without handing over your inventory. Shoppers get tracking and a set delivery date, and Amazon handles their delivery questions.
Most sellers with an address in Saudi Arabia are enrolled automatically when they register. The UAE works the same way. It's part of our wider guide to selling on Amazon in the Middle East.
How does Easy Ship work, step by step?
An order lands, you pack it, and Amazon takes it from there. Here's the daily flow:
- 1
Set Easy Ship on your listing
Choose Easy Ship as the fulfilment method for each product in Seller Central. Add the packed weight and box size, because they set your fee.
- 2
Get an order
The order appears in Manage Orders with a ship-by date. Confirm the package weight and dimensions.
- 3
Schedule a pickup
Pick a pickup slot for your address. Amazon only collects from addresses inside its coverage area.
- 4
Pack and label
Pack the item and print the Amazon shipping label from Seller Central. Stick it flat on the largest side of the box.
- 5
Hand it over
An Amazon Logistics courier collects the parcel during your slot. From here, the buyer can track it.
- 6
Delivery and payment
The courier delivers and, for COD orders, collects the cash. Amazon pays you with your next settlement.
Pickup happens at your address, so you need a real, reachable location. A home office, a shop or a small warehouse all work.

How much does Easy Ship cost?
Easy Ship charges one fee per parcel, based on weight. A one-kilo parcel costs SAR 20.50 on Amazon.sa, and AED 15 on Amazon.ae.
The referral fee (Amazon's commission on each sale) comes on top, exactly as with FBA. Here are the Easy Ship bands with the FBA fee for the same weight:
| Parcel weight | Easy Ship (SAR) | FBA (SAR) | Easy Ship (AED) | FBA (AED) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 250 g | 19 | 9.5 | 14 | 9.5 |
| Up to 500 g | 19.5 | 9.5 | 14.5 | 9.5 |
| Up to 1 kg | 20.5 | 10 | 15 | 10.5 |
| Up to 2 kg | 22.5 | 12 | 16 | 11.5 |
| 2–3 kg | 29 | 15 | 17.5 | 14.5 |
| 5 kg | 31 | 15 | 19.5 | 14.5 |
| 12 kg | 38 | 22 | 26.5 | 21.5 |
| Oversize, first kg | 28.5 + 1 per kg | from 14 | 18.5 + 1 per kg | from 12.5 |
| Storage fee | None | 3 per cu ft a month | None | 2 per cu ft a month |
Two things shape the number you pay:
- Volumetric weight. Amazon charges on the actual weight or the volumetric weight, whichever is higher. Volumetric weight is length × width × height in cm, divided by 5,000.
- The buyer's delivery charge. You can charge the buyer up to SAR 12 or AED 10 per shipment. Amazon doesn't charge more for remote areas, so set one price for the whole country.
For example, take a light pillow that weighs only 0.6 kg. Packed loosely in a medium carton, its volumetric weight is nearly five kilos.
That turns a SAR 20.50 parcel into a SAR 31 one.
So shrink your boxes first. Want every other fee on one page? See Amazon seller fees in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Does Easy Ship offer cash on delivery and Prime?
Cash on delivery, yes. Prime, no.
Easy Ship buyers can pay by card or cash at the door, and the courier collects the money for you. That matters in the Gulf, where many first-time online shoppers still like to pay on delivery.
The Prime badge is the trade-off. Only FBA offers carry it, and Prime shoppers often filter for it.
COD has a cost too: some buyers refuse the parcel at the door. Our guide to cash on delivery in the Gulf covers how to keep refusals low.
How should you pack Easy Ship orders?
You're the warehouse now, so packing is your job. Good packing protects the product and keeps your fee down.
Amazon lets you use your own boxes or buy Amazon packaging materials. Keep to one package per shipment, and stay within the standard parcel limit of 45 × 34 × 26 cm and 12 kg where you can. Anything bigger is billed as oversize.
Shipping lots of fragile or oddly shaped products? A local packaging supplier in Saudi Arabia can make right-sized boxes that cut your volumetric weight.
When does Easy Ship beat FBA?
FBA is cheaper per order for small and medium products. Easy Ship wins when storage costs outgrow the delivery saving, which happens with bulky items that sell slowly.
Let's run the numbers on Amazon.sa.
Say you sell a kids' play tent for SAR 149. It weighs 3 kg and fills the largest standard parcel box. It sells in toys, with a 14% referral fee.
The tent sells slowly, so each unit sits about six months before it sells. That box fills 1.4 cubic feet, or about SAR 4.20 a month in FBA storage.
| Per sale, ex-VAT | FBA | Easy Ship + SAR 12 delivery charge |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer pays | SAR 149.00 | SAR 161.00 |
| Referral fee (14%) | SAR 20.86 | SAR 22.54 |
| Delivery fee | SAR 15.00 | SAR 34.00 (8 kg volumetric) |
| Storage, six months | SAR 25.29 | – |
| VAT on Amazon's fees (15%) | SAR 9.17 | SAR 8.48 |
| Amazon pays you | SAR 78.68 | SAR 95.98 |
Easy Ship leaves you about SAR 17 more per sale. Even without the delivery charge, it pays out SAR 85.91 and still wins.
What's the flip side? You pay for your own storage space and packing time, so add those before you switch.
Now flip it to a small, fast seller.
Take a one-kilo phone case on Amazon.ae. It costs AED 15 with Easy Ship and AED 10.50 with FBA, and it barely uses any storage. FBA wins that one easily.
Try your own product. Change the price, category and size, then switch between FBA and Easy Ship:

When Self Ship makes sense
Self Ship means you book your own courier, such as SMSA, Aramex, SPL or J&T. Amazon charges no fulfilment fee, but you pay the courier and handle returns and customer questions.
Buyers can't pay cash on delivery with Self Ship.
It works best for very heavy or bulky goods. It also pays if your volume earns you a sharp rate from one of the last-mile delivery companies in Saudi Arabia.
How to turn Easy Ship on (or off)
If you registered with a Saudi or UAE address, Easy Ship is probably on already. You choose it product by product.
To switch, open the listing in Seller Central and change its fulfilment channel. You can move a product between Easy Ship and FBA at any time.
Some UAE sellers report trouble opting out of Easy Ship. If your settings won't change, contact Seller Support.
Before your first order, check that your pickup address is in coverage by scheduling a test pickup.
Notes for UAE sellers
- A smaller gap to FBA. At 1 kg, Easy Ship costs about 40% more than FBA in the UAE, against double in Saudi Arabia. Light, slow items can stay on Easy Ship longer.
- Cheaper heavy parcels. A 5 kg parcel costs AED 19.5 with Easy Ship, so bulky products tip in its favour sooner than in Saudi Arabia.
- One-day Prime. FBA in the UAE gets Prime one-day delivery, which is a strong pull for fast sellers. See Amazon FBA in the UAE.
Notes for foreign and Chinese sellers
- You need a local pickup address. Easy Ship only collects inside Saudi Arabia or the UAE, so you can't use it from a factory abroad.
- Use a 3PL as your address. A local warehouse can store your stock, pack Easy Ship orders and hand them to Amazon's courier.
- Import first. Stock still has to clear customs with an importer of record, and Saudi goods need SABER certificates.
- Incentives favour FBA. Most 2026 offers for new cross-border sellers, such as inbound cashback, only apply to FBA stock.
Notes for sellers using a 3PL
- One stock pool. A 3PL can ship your Shopify or Salla orders and your Easy Ship orders from the same shelves.
- Ask about Amazon pickups. Check that the 3PL handles Easy Ship labels and daily Amazon collections.
- Compare the total. Add the 3PL's pick-and-pack fee to the Easy Ship rate before you compare it with FBA.

Frequently asked questions
Amazon picks up in most major Saudi cities, and it delivers to customers across two national zones. If your pickup address is outside coverage, Seller Central tells you when you try to schedule. You can then use another address, such as a 3PL warehouse in Riyadh, or ship that order with Self Ship.
